I'm Kaci Godbehere, owner of The Hearth Mother, and I believe that all families deserve care and support throughout pregnancy, labor & delivery, and the postpartum period! The Hearth Mother Lactation and Postpartum Services offers Northeast Ohio families: breastfeeding classes, feeding assessments, pumping consultations, & day/night-time postpartum care directly in the comfort of your home!!
Home Is Where The Hearth Mother Is
As a new mom you have already have enough to tend to; leaving the comfort of your own home for breastfeeding and postpartum support should not be one of them. It is my honor to offer lactation services in the privacy of your own home, or wherever you feel most comfortable. I am also happy to offer daytime and nighttime, in-home postpartum support for mom, baby, and the family unit!

Whether you prefer a one-on-one class in your home or virtually, it is my goal to help you get prepared for breastfeeding! A common misconception is that breastfeeding is natural, and therefore we will instinctively know how to do it, however that is rarely the reality. My goal is to prepare moms and their support team for what to expect, provide the resources to get mom and baby off to a good start, and how to identify if they need additional help.
